Christo's Salon, Natural Expo East, Baltimore MD. Brazil---and the Amazon in particular---inspired much of the hand beaded/embroidered details (done in India) ---and exotic prints---for this luxurious collection of cocktail and evening dresses. " I want women to look beautiful and not make an 'artistic' statement...some designers want to make weird statements... " SO TRUE...as Angsana's dresses are all fitted perfectly to enhance a feminine silhouette---not to make some kind of statement about geometric proportions that we see a lot in fashion editorial---i.e. this Fall's oversized coat trend---with some that would take up half a subway car.
