577 Broadway, NYC words/images Judith Ecochard Nine West - the brand has grown so far beyond its contemporary footwear origins---the label now has offshoots to entice an even wider audience- dedicated to trendy and classic shoes. Lat night, the Nine West Vintage America Store-with Kate Ciepluch and Gilt City-  hosted invitees and several of the designers the company has collab-ed with -including the aforementioned in the None West Vintage line, as well as handbag maestro  Monica Botkier  and footwear creator Matt Bernson ...in a snack, drink fueled shopping event---(great combo, YES). We chatted with both Botkier and Bernson who told us that Nine West reached out to them...and that the handbags and shoe---were made in the facilities that these to use. Pretty impressive. Also---as Botkier's satchels are more glamourous uptown gal ---her Nine West pure leather handbags are "more refined" her words, but we think--- still fab. Bernson's collection -with glitter...
