If industrial designer icon Yves Béhar designed bicycle accessories...the wonderful results would probably look a lot like the offerings from two Euro based companies, POC Sports (Sweden) and Fabric Cycling (UK).

Both brands are completely new to us -making the serious eye candy helmets and bike seats we saw some of the freshest new 'stuff' seen this season.
Fewer vents that are longer/wider-and Coolbest padding very notice-able difference-larger open surface area in front combines with unique interior for increased air flow---so -POC Octal road bike helmets deliver optimal ventilation and more protective ride -with more coverage+ protection and temples+back of the head. EPS liner is strategically thicker in most exposed areas + is covered by PVC shell. Ultra-light-under 200 grams (size M CE version)-comfy+adjustable. Plus eye garage so sunglasses fit correctly+securely and there's a scannable ICE tag. $270.
