Midtown, NYC

Words/Images Judith Ecochard

Greeted by lifesize blowups of Burton's team riders, the Vermont based maker of cutting edge snowboards, apparel, kickers, accessories has the kind of worldwide devotion (think a smaller scale APPLE, in a way)...that other brands envy.

We doubt any media types walked out of the staged preview without being impressed.
Graphics/prints are masterpieces...RESTRICTED LINE-with longer team fit, warm lightweight 3M™ Thinsulate™...venting/pockets

Even the jacket labels have 'tude

In this group the jackets/pants have all the functional bells and whistles -tech features we'd expect-including patent pending cuff design - fully taped seams to keep the elements out, and body specific engineered lining that delivers the warmth where the torso needs it, comfortably and with mobility guaranteed, via zonal Thermacore™----

ALL-in poppin' bright patterns and colors-sure to catch a few eyeballs slopes.

The Dark Horizons Collection---with Thinsulate™ and down fill placed strategically to ensure warmth-not width--- and water proof with clean, 'simple"profiles...and style-wise-perfect for the boarders who actually watched the gothic tv soap---Dark Horizons--- growing up.
