Casual wear can have a lot of polish---and sporty well-tailored elegance in its own right.

Nautica is an all American brand that has always had active wear influences…and this Spring’s outing by Nautica just hit it out of the ballpark…

…Or raised the sails high---as the collection “is inspired by the spirit of the water.”

Southern locales from the active surf of Key West, to the Big Easy’s traditional charms--- served as the reference point for wearable and “authentic” separates.

Easy too was the mix and match of the apparel as the color palette stuck with the red, white and blue with dabs of sunny of yellow, pale khaki,  and plaid and yacht friendly stripes print.

Need to dress-up?

Nautica has a handsome Blue Seersucker patchwork blazer that we can see even guys who shy away from any flair in their wardrobe…liking.

Actually, every ensemble worked…from more formal offerings like a Navy silk wool blazer…

To kick back and sea worthy Red swim trunks and White cargo board shorts.

Tops----Blue denim and blue cotton, multi plaid, and Sail White cotton double-sided blanket plaid and blue cotton button downs---classics with all American fits.

Linen and cotton figured prominently throughout…with a few silk wool blazers and a special cotton wool waterproof chambray parka.

Other options for those crisp ocean breezes---sail print bombers and striped shawl neck sweater.

And---technically performing pieces like white nylon Nautica Competition reversible vest and a Yellow Nylon Waterproof Nautica Competition bomber---here with a white cotton track pant.

ACCESSORIES: All Nautica too.

WE LOVE; Nautica sponsors a series of Triathlons that are well run...and the give-away tees are gender specific and FIT.
