WORDS/IMAGES Judith Ecochard/LYRAmag

CAMPER is a savvy Spanish maker of quality modern shoes…with comfort and eco practices in place that set it apart, along with the cool styling, quality materials/construction--- from other footwear brands.

Every season, Camper’s 'work to play' kickers inspire its pr peeps to cleverly display the up coming season’s lineup.

This time out the NEW YORK team helmed by Factory Pr---gave editor types the style themes:

Cushion and Comfort (a guy on a bed of nails),

Hybrid (recycled materials and wool as exemplified by the Broccoflower Garden),

Waterproof, (a way underpaid intern in an old fashioned dunking booth)

Lightweight, (footwear as light as air…floating above)

Unisex, (Fittingly, drag queen Erickatoure Aviance attired appropriately with the MO “that many things, including footwear, can go both ways),

and 360 Degree Stitching,  (a process that uses less glue interpreted in a Hoberman Sphere sculpture visualizing craft that is “colorful, flexible and adapts with ease”)…

Got literal interpretations in a beer, Riazul Premium tequila fueled outing it the Camper NYC showroom.

No surprise, our favorite looks belong to the highly unique To&ether Capsule collections that are collaborations with fashion designers Veronique Branquinho,

Roman Kremer, Jaime Hayon, Bernhard Willhelm,

and Maria Blaisse.

FUN!!!!
