Parsons graduates Sonia Yoon and Benjamin Channing Clyburn managed to turn out a smart and fun collection, full of wearable separates with a salute to their home country.

In business since their graduation, this duo noshes from their heritages of Asia and America for their sharp tailored pieces that have feminine flair and a youthful vibe. FUN.

It should be noted…they sold their their entire first collection sold like that…and Bensoni is stocked in boutiques all over, for good reason.

The colors of Old Glory---red, white and blue came shining through in a Flag Skirt part of a winning ensemble that includes a nautically natty “Khaki Sailor Trench Coat” and a “Crushed Cans Tank”...cause things go better with Coca Cola! (pictured up top)

Casual looks like the “Crushed Cans Chiffon Ruffle Blouse with Highwaist Military trouser, ” and a floral denim strapless sheath = daywear done right...

And more work friendly attire…as in a lady like taffeta floral jacquard shift dress had us thinking adorable...but still appropriate.

The talented twosome managed to reference American pop culture without being too obvious. Well done.
